THE WEEK THAT WAS

THE WEEK THAT WAS

This is an odd week of postings for us, but then it has been a very unusual and exciting week.  Tuesday Gratitude and Trust – Six Affirmations That Will Change Your Life hit the stores. And we hit the road and have had some very exciting, fun, enriching, engaging events and encounters.

We thank all of you who have bought books, showed up to readings, written to us and asked for bookplates, Tweeted and reposted and shared.  As  I write this we are number seven in 12-Step books on Amazon in the country and number 98 in Personal Transformation. This is pretty good considering as of yet we have had next to no National press or TV. We have taped some amazing things and done some fun radio. We want to thank Marc Spitz for doing a spectacular interview with us for Vanity Fair online. And we have many things in the pipeline.

Monday was a big day that led up to to Tuesday which was even bigger. Monday we flew to Chicago.

I have a habit on my own website – which is wherever I go, I always post my room. It has become  a thing. This time I was so distracted I forgot to do it until the morning we left. Which was actually the next day.

I'm usually neater than this.

The first thing I saw the morning I woke up on pub day. Paul's room was a floor above me with the same view so he saw the same thing.

Why were in Chicago? We were blessed to tape Super Soul Sunday with Oprah. This is us in the green room. What a publication day gift. She was amazing. It was everything and more. Not to speak entirely in cliches. We can't tell you much now, but closer to the air date we will do a full blog on our experience. Suffice to say it was a lifetime highlight for us both.

Because we had to make our 8:00 PM book signing at Book Court in Brooklyn. A lively engaged group who made us feel very welcome. Thank you Book Court!

This morning we had the best time on the Opie Show live on Sirius Radio. So many laughs. I can't wait to go back. Here we are with Opie and his co-host Jim Norton.
